Kyeryongsan National Park
The name Kyeryong mountain originates from the three peaks of Chonwhang, Ssalgae and Sambul, whose ridges resemble a dragon. As one of the five major mountains in the Shilla Dynasty, and one of the places for worshiping mountain gods in the Choson Dynasty, many shaman today visit the Kyeryongsan for holding rites.

The range also contains 4 large temples, called Tonghaksa temple, Kapsa temple, Shinwonsa temple and Yonghwasa temple. In addition, it also contains the Yongmoon waterfall, Yongyu pond, Eil brook, Paknyonggang, Talmoon pond, Kunja pond, full-moon pond, Sujung peak, and Kyeryongmyong rock. The valley between Tonghaksa and Kapsa temple is beyond description and the maple trees produce a real spectacle.
