Soraksan National Park
Soraksan, which contains the highest peak (Taechongbong 1,708m), is regarded the most beautiful mountain in South Korea. It is divided into Hangyeryung, Mishiryung, and the eastern part, which is so called outer Sorak, and the western part, so called inner Sorak.

Soraksan is accessible by most transportations and top class accommodations are available.

Mt. Geumgangsan
Mt. Geumgangsan, one of the most scenic tourist spots on the Korean Peninsula and considered one of the world's most spectacular natural wonders, is located in North Korea near the eastern end of the Demilitarized Zone dividing the peninsula in two. Luxury cruise boats capable of carrying some 1,000 tourists travel from Donghae in the South to the North? eastern port of Jangjeon, where the tourists take chartered buses to the mountain.

Ch'iaksan National Park
Ch'iaksan National Park, located in the mideastern province of the Korean Peninsula, is well known for a temple called Sangwon. Other attractions are T'aejongdae and Hoengjiam Valley, which is famous for the legend of T'aejong (the 3rd king of the Choson Dynasty, A.D.1392-1910). Other must-see sights include Naongsu, which produces water that does not freeze in the winter and is ice-cold in the summer and famous temples like Pomunsa, Kukhyangsa, Kwanumsa and Yonamsa.

Odaesan National Park
Odaesan derives its name from its five major peaks, namely Biro peak, Horyong peak, Sangwang peak, Turo peak and Tongdae peak.

As the backbone of the T'aebaeksan, these peaks are so steep and dangerous that there are some areas which are yet explored.

Naksan Provincial park
This park includes Uisangdae, Naksansa Temple, and Naksan Beach. Uisangdae is well known for its beautiful sunrises, along with Pulguksa temple in Kyongju. This park is in the middle of many tourist attractions.

Kyongpo Provincial Park
Kyongpo Provincial Park is considered to be one of the eight most attractive places in Gangwondo. Kyongpo park includes Kyongpodae, Kyongpo Beach, OJukhon, Sonkyojang, Haeunjong, Panghaejong, and Sokranjong.
