Chuwangsan
Chuwangsan is a very large mountain with many rock cliffs and has a total area of 105.58 งด.

It used to be called Sokp'yongsan because of its scenery of rock cliffs which resemble screens made of stone("sokp'yong" means stone screen in Korean).

It became known as Chuwangsan after Prince Chuwang of the Shilla Dynasty stayed there in seclusion.

Sobaeksan National Park
Sobaeksan National Park is recognized by Koreans as a spiritual mountain, and is one of the great mountains of Gyeongsang-do. The Sobaek Mountain range, which branches southwest from T'aebaeksan, spreads across three districts.

It stretches out toward the southwest for over 40 km. The main peak, Pirobong(1,439 m), is home to a forest of Korean Yew trees, which are designated as a national monument. Kukmangbong(1,421 m) is where classical scholars prayed for peace throughout the nation. Picturesque landscapes such as Chukgyegukok, Huibang Valley and the magnificent Huibang Waterfall that flows between the rock cliffs of the valleys, are found at Sobaeksan. The mountain also has many limestone caves such as Kosu Tonggul and Chondong Tonggul.

Kajisan National Park
The park includes Soknamsa, Tongdosa, and Naewonsa. Tongdosa is the third biggest temple among 31 temples that hold parts of Buddha's bones. After Jajangyulsa brought Buddha's bones from China, he built the temple during the reign of Queen Sondok(646 AD).

From then on, for 1300 years, the lights of the temple have shone continuously and the altar in the main building has been set with no statue but only with Buddha's bones.
