Jinju National Museum
Located at Jinju, the national museum was opened in 1984. Since its' opening, it has contributed greatly in promoting the regional culture and also led the historical and cultural research of the southern Gyeongsang province, where archaeological study hasn't actively been carried out.

As the first historic specialization museum, it endeavers to pave the way for future museums of this kind.
