The trees and stones of this place have very special meaning,
for they are the roots of Chorok trees which had grown natural

remain and fill the space with their beauty.

Hallasan
Hallasan
is 1,850 above the sea level and is the highest mountain in
South Korea. Except 20 peaks above 1,000m which forms whole
Hallasan including Pongbuak(1,950m) which rises high in the
center of the island, the remainders of the mountain slopes
gently down the sea.
Jejudo was formed during the period from about 1,200 thousand
to 25 thousand years ago, and volcanic body of Hallasan was
formed during the period from 300 thousand years to 100 thousand
years. When volcano explodes molten rock lay around the crater
without flowing down off, so the upper part of Hallasan slopes
steep.
On top of Hallasan there is a crater called as Paeknokdam
and this crater is a pond with water. Hallasan has vertical
distribution of plants such as the sub tropical zone plant,
temperate Zone plant, polar plant, high mountain plant according
to geography, and there are so many peculiar plants that it
forms special scenery.
Songsan Peak
Songsan
Peak is a volcanic crater perched out on the eastern tip of
Jeju-do and is one of the ten most spectacular scenes of Jeju-do.
The views of the sunrise are breathtaking from the summit,
which is accessible by a cobblestone path from the western
slope.
The peak is 182 meters high. The view from the peak in the
spring of the meadows full of yellow rape flowers is spectacular.
The rim of the crater is adorned with 99 craggy rock pinnacles
reminiscent of a king's crown. Sunrise peak is designated
