Jeju Carving Park
Jeju Sculpture Park lies on a ground of 130,000 pyong at Andok-ri and Toksu-ri, Namjeju-gun with a theme, 'harmony among nature, art, and man'. It gives a cultural flavor and a peculiar artistic atmosphere. About 160 works of 109 famous senior and major artists in Korea are displayed in harmony with a beautiful scenery.

There are a triangular crystal tower and Chongmunkwan expressing the modern and primitive ages, Honbat plaza for various artistic events, broad grass plaza, Iletdang for praying for the birth of a son, a walk, Kotjawat way, and maze of love. One can take a picture of sculptures or appreciate the fine scenery of seashore from Hallasan mountain to Sanbangsan mountain.

Tamla Moksokwon
T'amla Moksokwon is located near the Jeju city. Here about 1000 trees of natural forest and 500 stones shaped of human face are displayed.

The trees and stones of this place have very special meaning, for they are the roots of Chorok trees which had grown natural only in the 700m high of Hallasan and which are not leaving any more. With the time only the stable branches of trees remain and fill the space with their beauty.

Yomiji Botanical Garden
The Yomiji Botanical Garden is one of the best botanical gardens in the world. It is located in the Jeju Chungmun tourist complex, which is the biggest greenhouse in Asia, having on exhibition 1,200 kinds of the subtropical zone and torrid zone plants from all over the world.

The greenhouse botanical garden consists of five different gardens, such as the Hwajopwon, the water plants garden, Tayuk botanical garden, the Saengt'aewon and a tropical fruits garden. The Hwajopwon has about 300 kinds of flowers and trees such as the begonia and ther Pantanus. The Susaesikmulwon(water plants garden) is famous for its very beautiful small ponds and an artificial island. The Tayulsikmulwon has 500 kinds of cactus plants, including the Kidung cactus and chestnut trees.

The Saengt'aewon has a bushy jungle and rare plants such as insectivorous plants, gum trees and palm trees, so the visitor feels like he is in the Amazon jungle. The tropical fruits garden has 40 kinds of fruit such as the banana, papaya, etc.

Hallasan
Hallasan is 1,850 above the sea level and is the highest mountain in South Korea. Except 20 peaks above 1,000m which forms whole Hallasan including Pongbuak(1,950m) which rises high in the center of the island, the remainders of the mountain slopes gently down the sea.

Jejudo was formed during the period from about 1,200 thousand to 25 thousand years ago, and volcanic body of Hallasan was formed during the period from 300 thousand years to 100 thousand years. When volcano explodes molten rock lay around the crater without flowing down off, so the upper part of Hallasan slopes steep.

On top of Hallasan there is a crater called as Paeknokdam and this crater is a pond with water. Hallasan has vertical distribution of plants such as the sub tropical zone plant, temperate Zone plant, polar plant, high mountain plant according to geography, and there are so many peculiar plants that it forms special scenery.

Songsan Peak
Songsan Peak is a volcanic crater perched out on the eastern tip of Jeju-do and is one of the ten most spectacular scenes of Jeju-do. The views of the sunrise are breathtaking from the summit, which is accessible by a cobblestone path from the western slope.

The peak is 182 meters high. The view from the peak in the spring of the meadows full of yellow rape flowers is spectacular. The rim of the crater is adorned with 99 craggy rock pinnacles reminiscent of a king's crown. Sunrise peak is designated as Jeju Treasure No.36 for its protection.
