Choksangsan
Choksangsan is surrounded by cliffs. The mountain came to have the name Choksang because with its autumn colors it looked like a women's skirt.

The mountain boasts peculiar features with seasonal changes. It also has some natural sites of interest to tourists, including Changdobawi and Changkunbawi. In the mountain, General Choi-Young constructed a mountain forest wall named Choksansanseong.

The current wall was reconstructed in 1628, or the 6th year of King Injo, and its length is 8.143km. Inside the wall are historic remains such as Anguksa, an ancient temple. Choksansan consists of two main peaks, Hyangrobong and Kibong. The summit of the mountain is covered with soil, nourishing a dense forest. However rocks cover the side of the mountain resembling a folding screen. Since it is a rocky mountain, mountain climbing routes are limited. There are two routes : One is from Soch'ang-ri police substation, and the other is from Choksangkyo to Anguksa. Since the path to Anguksa is rocky, it is better to take the path from the police substation.
