Kwangju National Museum
The Kwangju National Museum was built to house the precious Chinese porcelains found in a shipwreck off Shinan. These relics date back to the Song and Won Dynasties.

The museum also displays relics and paintings from the Paekche, Unified Shilla, and Choson Dynasty. Also it plays an important role as a historical museum in the region.
